i mean if both sides are maximizing their electorate you would see that especially on social issues the country is center/left. Obama would have cruised to a 3rd term if it were possible.

the giveaway is that every republican victory in presidential elections since the early 90s has been close, most were also losses of popular vote.
democratic victories have been much less close.
which tells you the determining factor in presidential elections is turnout.

Hilary was one of the most unlikable candidates ever according to polling data and she still ended up winning the popular vote by over 3 million. That was with many people sitting home.

I'm really kind of torn on this.
I'll probably vote in person, but I'm not so sure about encouraging my older relatives to. I'd feel bad if an elderly relative caught Covid voting in person.
I have no doubt there's going to be a lot of cheating going on tho. They're going to be throwing ballots out for all kinds of BS reasons.

Check local laws to make sure you're allowed, and organize ballot deliveries to the authorized drop locations. This is the way to do it. Cut DeJoy's fukkery and USPS troubles out as a factor.

Damn, I recently just got my absentee ballot but I’m worried if I fill that shyt up and mail it that it might not even go thru. Early voting is very soon so I’m thinking about going in person.
