At some point we need to acknowledge Bernie would've lost like 40 states. Its a sad reality.

Even my favorite, Warren wouldn't have done this well.

This country truly is a right wing hell hole. :snoop:
I agree with your premise.

It is becoming clearer to me that this was going to be a very sensitive election that required a specific type of candidate to overcome the sheer amount of white people that are still on code with Trump after four years. Biden is safe, Biden is known, Biden has the temperament for the moment. It's why Biden has stayed relatively clean despite a year of mudslinging from the other side. Running an unabashed brazen Socialist in this environment where the streets are literally on fire would have been an unmitigated disaster. I hope Bernie's followers can be objective and acknowledge this. Ask yourself if Bernie was the nominee what would the numbers with suburban women and Independents look like right now? What would the numbers with seniors and Latinos look like in Florida? The "home turf" advantage in Pennsylvania that Biden is currently a benefactor of wouldn't exist. There would be no Lincoln Project. The corporate media would undoubtedly in Trump's pocket. Firebrand campaign speeches from AOC and Ilhan Omar would be aired live on Fox News every day. Think about that for a second. :wow:

We should get on our knees and kiss the feet of those older black voters in South Carolina. Their wisdom and prudence literally saved the country.

The country is center/left. That's why larger turnover is good for Dems, bad for the GOP. Problem is many who consider themselves left are also apathetic or fall victim to the "don't vote" bullshyt etc..

The GOP never worries about their people coming out. Racism doesn't take a day off.

You're laying it on a bit thick here :heh:

Biden is definitely safe. That along with his Scranton background may have brought in some independent voters that would have been scared off by Bernie/Warren/Wang/etc. But every candidate was polling well ahead of Trump, who has shown himself to be a walking flaming garbage can. The "socialist" tag would only go so far IMO. The primary went the way it did but to imply old Black voters in the South went with Biden to save the nation is ludicrous :mjlol:

They went with the guy who they saw next to Obama all those years, that's all.

Now it's legitimate to question whether the sliver of Biden only voters is enough to tip the election. I'd say no. Some would say, "I'm glad we don't have to find out, we need everyone now, it's this or utter doom", and I respect that opinion.
