Unless 1. Polls are again wrong but way worse than even 2016 2. Cheating is massive on Belarus style levels (hard to do when every state runs their own elections) Trump isn't running away with shyt. He DOES hope to keep it close enough to cheat "legal like" and that's why he wants his 6-3 Supreme Court. Turnout will hopefully be big enough to deny him that

Harvard Youth Poll: Election 2020

Don't usually quote myself but just gotta say - it's CRAZY to me that back in Obama's big year of 2008 youth turnout was STILL under 50% :mjlol:

If this doesn't get more or less permanently fixed, we are in a world of shyt. And nobody knows how.

GOP plans are being fulfilled

If you eliminate the things that give Black people help, and then tell them it's their grandparents and parents fault that they're not in as good of a position in life as their white counterparts and not because of systemic and institutional racism, they will turn against their own and do the GOPs work for them.

I'm a young Black man that's probably never going to vote for a Republican in my lifetime.

However, I understand why other young Black people feel dejected and more cynical about the Democratic Party and politics in general.

This doesn't explain why younger people view the gop more favorably though:patrice:

Note, that this is only one poll and from 6 states. This isn't a national poll or anything. Also, younger people in general do not view the GOP more favorably.

Anyways, this might be driven by young Black people feeling as though the Democrats have "taken advantage of us" or just simply just not caring about the same issues as older Black folks. I don't know :manny:

I know it's only a couple of states, but it still doesn't compute to me, how does younger black folks have higher numbers for the below?

Trust congressional Republicans to do “what is best” for Black people 29
GOP is “welcoming” to Black Americans 28

Honestly seems like TLR'ish.

Young Black men might be having more negative perceptions of the Democratic Party. The political parties might become almost gender-sorted in the future (based on polling). The Democratic Party becomes more of the "Women's Party" and the Republican Party becomes more of the "Men's Party".

I don't know. Maybe :yeshrug:
