Why wouldn’t Romney support this. It is what it is.

end of the day we’re here because Ginsburg wanted a white woman president to select her replacement instead of a black man. And now her bullshyt has almost certainly ensured Rod v Wade will be overturned. That’s on her. I’m not blaming republicans for being...republicans.

What I don't understand is, how in the hell they expect their constituents to show up for the Democratic Party in future elections if they are unwilling to correct this obvious wrong. How in the hell do they expect young voters, in particular, to continue to stay engaged in the political process if they see Democrat leaders stand idly while an illegitimate court repeatedly strikes down every progressive ideal we care for.
If the Dems take back White Hosue and Senate and do not wield power then they are done in 2022 and 2024. The AOC generation will have to take over to bring the country back if there is even a country. Millions of people will stop voting because their actions. Thats how democracy dies.

Its why saying over and over "just vote" is nowhere near enough. But I know the video game pundits on TV and the real world do not see that or don't care.

Romney's statement about there is no precedent to confirm an opposite party nominee in an election year was just plain BS. In 1988, a presidential election year, the Democratic-lead Senate confirmed Republican President Ronald Reagan's Supreme Court nominee Anthony Kennedy.

Joe Biden was the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee at the time too :beli:

If there is capitulation just because the old guard is failing us then we deserve what we get. If the old guard doesn’t do what is necessary then vote those motherfukkers out in the primaries. There needs to be more political passion and awareness not less. People need to care more in primaries.

I guess it's time to impeach the MF.

If we gotta do it 10 more times until Jan. 21, so be it
Not happening and wouldn't help Democrats' election chances. The best case is to try as hard as possible to delay the confirmation past 10/3 and hope Democrats' take the White House and Senate. That way they could try to lay claim to the selection.

1. Why 10/03?

2. If they don't take the Senate, Impeach?
