Because the election is (in my view understandably) viewed through the context of 2016. Call it PTSD or whatever but it is what it is.
Regardless of polls people are going to feel like Trump has an advantage and will overperform. Maybe that's not true but it's better for Dems to have that mindset regardless
Yea, I agree. It's best to have Biden leaning voters feel like Trump may win again so they get their asses out to vote.

i just hope that mail in ballots increased turnout enough to overcome or offset enough of the suppression. because the republicans might bytch about it, but at the end of the day these states are gonna count every vote because the demand will happen locally. every senate race is gonna demand every vote count, all the ballot questions getting voted on are gonna demand every vote count. not just trump and biden on the ballot
