A lot of so-called leftists are gonna be disappointed when Biden gets in and starts deficit hawking and listening to Rick Wilson and Ana Navarro. I don’t even think he’s going to push for a public option added to Obamacare. Probably just lowering the Medicare age, childcare and some other means-tested expansions.
That’s better than the removal of Obamacare/ defunding of Medicare and the complete transition to a full blown oligarchy

Facts on the bolded. I can see it already :lolbron:

Leftists will be disappointed if they buy into the nonsensical idea they'll be able to apply pressure to Biden after the election. Their best leverage is now.

Fast forward to 2025 when they're asked to put principle aside and vote for Milquetoast pt 2 to prevent Tom Cotton from winning :unimpressed:

This.
If he wouldve handled this well, Im sure he wouldve got props/votes for it, even from people who arent super trump fanatics normally.
Its always in times of crisis where someones leadership is put to the test, and dude completely exposed himself with reacting like a mentally challenged coward.

his ego and compulsiveness fukked him.

he was so worried about the market/economy because it’s the one thing he had going for him that he didn’t realize it would have helped it out in the longterm If he just took the proper precautions and shut things down right away

Instead he tried to ignore it and hoped it would go away or only hurt the states that won’t vote for him anyway which was the case in the begining and also a reason he didn’t react right away

So??? What does that even have to do with anything?

Do you have anything to add other than noting that every shytty Biden policy people will have to suffer through would be worse under Trump?

Btw we already are a full-blown oligarchy. There is no transitioning. I want to undo it.

or, it never happens at all, and he likely wins in november :dead: unemployment was in the 3's. incumbents dont lose in america with unemployment in the 3s
This is a bad faith argument based of the premise that the pandemic means an automatic loss for an incumbent which is just faulty logic. It’s was a generally unforeseen circumstances that he has failed to rise to the occasion on via multiple opportunities.

I just don’t understand the point of complaining about Biden’s policy. Keep your expectations low and just be happy it can be the beginning of a of a positive trajectory/reversal on the horrible course we currently are on. Biden is who he is. I’d rather wait til 2022 and 2024 and focus on getting people who align with your ideology in office. We get it, Biden isn’t your ideal guy but he is infinitely better than Trump. I just don’t see the point in complaining when there isn’t a realistic alternative. We know he won’t govern like Bernie Sanders

Leftists are awful strategists and this post shows exactly why.

You don't win, you can't govern. You don't get on the team and commit to helping win, no one give a fukk what you gotta say.

I been telling every Bernie dead ender / Green Party curious one the same thing and them getting in their feelings every time pretty much proves me right: they are this close to getting completely bushed whether Biden wins or loses.

It can actually be way worse if Biden wins, because if the margin of victory is big enough and there are no hats in hands QUICK the new administration can structure the Party to kick these nikkas to the curb.

bullshyt, its not a bad faith argument that the economy was good to great in february and the pandemic ruined it. its common sense :dahell:

ive noticed that "bad faith" is the default criticism around here when an argument doesnt go with the approved narrative :mjlol:

:why:did you read anything I said? I said there's no point in leftists holding out hope that a Biden administration will take them seriously. They have little leverage now and they'll have even less after a Biden win.

Yeah, good luck with that. You have to be clueless :bryan:

It’s bad faith in that you are making the occurrence of the pandemic an event that an incumbent couldn’t survive and that’s just not logical. His response will be his down fall if he loses in Nov.

You yourself said in another post that we aren’t confident he won’t win so by that logic a better response would lessen the chance of him losing.

Kamala has to know if she allows this to happen she will get washed in 2024, either in the primary or the general.

well, they could always run a candidate that actually wins the nomination

but yes, they might be "asked" to vote for kamala over tom cotton. but if youre on the left, it should be worth it for the supreme court alone

lesser of two evils might suck, but isnt it worth it when youre talking about the fukkin president? :dead:how could people not learn that lesson from 2016?

Correct. The current leftist thinking however is that Biden is incapable of adaptation and meeting the moment however so, fukk him, I'ma stand here and hold my breath and that's a win when I pass out and crack my skull :mjlit:

I don't know, I have 2 passports so this is at most a theoretical exercise for me :yeshrug:
