I think it's possible he chose to relocate to Omaha to be close to Kim though. As she is from Nebraska.

So far from what we know Saul has no living relatives. Where do you start if your a fed after the warrants are out for him at the end of bb? of course there could be another Kim out there but Kim would be high on the totem pole

Well, the final season of this is still probably a couple years before "BB". Unless they do a time jump....in which case Kim obviously isn't around.

So it would be his his ex-wife, who wasn't lived in Nebraska since she was young. And "BB" took place over 2 years....so assuming Kim is even around up until the end of "BCS"....it would be 2+ years since Saul talked to her.

I think it's possible the FBI would contact her since he has no other family....but I seriously doubt they'd assume he moved to Omaha for her.

He was trying to figure out what Gus was secretly up to with the building of the meth factory. The lead construction worker went AWOL and Lalo was following Mike to find the construction worker before Mike did to get information on what's Gus was up to.
