On second thought, Saul has a soft spot for old people, so in this case he might feel more guilty than KimSaul would have talked old man into moving in like 5 mins.

The way they are threading everything together so seamlessly is going to easily spark a big uptick in Breaking Bad rewatches and viewership on the heels of this show.
Lowkey, if somebody has never seen Breaking Bad, how different would their viewing experience be of that entire series if they watched BCS first.
I'm trying to think if BCS even spoils any key details about Breaking Bad, I don't think it does. You would just know that Saul was in hiding from when the show first starts.
This is true. We didn't know his backstory when he was introduced in BB, but he still came off as extremely calculated while we were trying to figure him outWe don't know the extent of who Gus is for a long time. When we're introduced to him in BB, Saul just says "I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy".
We have no idea he's the type of guy that owns a "super lab"
I've only watched the 1st Episode, but somebody remind me what Gus was really doing with the inferior dope.
He was cooking up his own shyt and mixing it together with the Salamanca supply and pocketing the profits?
Was he aware that his shyt was inferior and thought it wouldn't be found out because he owns Nacho?
Or he thought his shyt was on the same level, but Lalo is just a G like that?
Nah.
He threw in some bad dope hoping Lalo would find it so he could "confess" that Werner was his employee that went rogue and tried to get into the dope game.
Gus, according to this story, copped some bullshyt product to "make up the difference" that Werner stole.
Obviously Lalo has been on his ass and knows who Werner is from last season, so Gus was hoping he'd buy that story. And not further research the construction project. Which is also why him, Lalo, and Juan Bolsa met at the chicken place they were "building".
Fred.
Got it. He got Nacho to subtly bait Lalo also.
Did I miss a scene? Or it was simply inferred that Gus needed a way to throw Lalo off the scent?

I didnt even realise thisNah.

Doubt it. It's still relatively early in the time line.
I'd say we're still a couple years from the start of "BB". Unless Hank randomly mentions him....which would be ok I guess, but kinda a goofy easter egg with no other context....there's really no reason for Walt to be here yet.

Jimmy realised he was metaphorically food in these streets, looking at the ants all over his ice cream
