There's two pronounced Kims as well - Corporate Kim and Pro Bono Kim.

That was a whole lot of yellow light in the background of that last scene, behind Kim too

As shook as Jimmy was, that $8gz for a day’s work probably felt like he won at the casino. And that shyt was a great way to “introduce” Hank into the picture.

Right when we thought Kim was done with the fukkery, looks like she going to be back to being with the shyts.

That old man spat that ether and made her realize, in the grand scheme of things, maybe she isn't that much different than Saul.

Kim got punked by the judge, her boss and the old man within a 3 hour period. And then hours later the old man sonned her again.

All she could do is throw some beer bottles because she will have many more days like that. BUT she’s the one who wanted Mesa Verde and this pro bono shyt. The reality is that Mesa Verde wasn’t a one and done and those pro bono clients are barely a step up from the dirtbags Jimmy is working for.

Lowkey, if somebody has never seen Breaking Bad, how different would their viewing experience be of that entire series if they watched BCS first.


I'm trying to think if BCS even spoils any key details about Breaking Bad, I don't think it does. You would just know that Saul was in hiding from when the show first starts.

I went back & watched Hank’s death scene..the same stubbornness he showed in the interrogation room was the same stubbornness that I feel got him killed
I also watched the scene where the twins came to kill him..Damn I forgot how much tension was in that scene..I felt like I was in the whip with him when he got that call

If someone watched this first and then watched "BB"....

Walt would probably seem like....I dunno, fukking Thanos or something. Because look at how relatively calm this universe is, prior to Walt existing in it. 90% of the people in "BCS" are either dead or got their lives permanently fukked up, because of Walt.

Tuco - Dead.
Hank and Gomez - Dead.
Krazy-8 - Dead.
Hector - Dead.
Mike - Dead.
Gus - Dead.
Tyrus - Dead.
Victor - Dead.
Gale - Dead.

etc etc etc.

To really illustrate this....it's taken 2 seasons so far and the super lab still ain't done yet. Walt destroyed it in 5 minutes.

As far as the latest ep, the intro reminded me of "Legion" or "Fargo". Really weird and artsy, in a good way.

Kim yelling at the old man reminded me of Chuck yelling at Jimmy. I can't help but think that was intentional.

The scene between Nacho and his dad was probably the saddest scene in this series, or "BB".

As far as the Mike scene, he should've gotten jumped. Not because it's more "realistic"....because hell, there's plenty of fights on social media or World Star where one guy knocks someone out and their squad is just there like ....but he should've gotten jumped to show how off point he is. Dude is drunk walking through the hood at night, the Mike we know is very cautious.

I have a feeling the second half of this season is gonna be an unprecedented level of tragedy. Because Kim obviously isn't in "BB", and it seems like she's pretty much given up at this point.

I'd say we're still a couple years from the start of "BB". Unless Hank randomly mentions him....which would be ok I guess, but kinda a goofy easter egg with no other context....there's really no reason for Walt to be here yet.

BCS MAKES BB LOOK CARTOONISH TBH.

EVERYTHING IS STABLE, GROUNDED
AND MORE REALISTIC IN BCS.

IF SOMEONE WATCHED BCS 1ST
THEY WOULD FEEL LIKE THESE nikkaS
COMPLETELY JUMPED THE SHARK WITH BB
AND THE WALTER WHITE CHARACTER WOULD BE
EVEN MORE UNBELIEVABLE
THAN HE ALREADY WAS.
