Just ask them if they plan to vote for Jill Stein and the Green Party who have supported reparations for years or Tulsi Gabbard who is already one of the co-sponsors of the HR-40 bill H.R.40 - 115th Congress (2017-2018): Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act

We all know they don't support those two so it's clear they're cynically exploiting this issue only against Bernie

That Tulsi HR bill is one thing, but even if you support reparations strongly and they are the only issue you care about how would voting for Jill Stein help?

Being unwilling to entertain African American redress should be held against him... especially when M4A and a living wage are being pushed by viable candidates willing to entertain reparations, and address the unique challenges African Americans face.

Reparations polls at 36%

it's not popular

I'd understand if it was polling like M4A

Bernie's running a populist campaign, so ofc he's not big on it. Not in the form of cash payouts (btw, which is ALL anyone is tlaking about. ADOS has an entire agenda, but no one is talking about anything besides getting reparations money).

what viable candidate with a shot at the primary, has shown authentic willingness to campaign on reparations? :patrice: i havent seen it

bernie's position on reparations is clearly trash, but he doesn't have a real competitor whose position isnt also

In my opinion our votes should move on this particular issue. Supporting the nonstarter candidate sets the conversation back too far.

Having it talked about on during an election cycle is important... Bernie showed us this with his crazy socialist ideas last cycle that every candidate is now on board for.

Candidate that may just be talking :hula: candidate saying fukk y’all nikkas upfront
