:snoop:at those polls

So people who are in favor of m4a voted for Biden? Because they think he supports that too?
Am I getting that right?:dahell:
i tried to tell you. yes these people are low info voters, white folks included. why do you think every politician i think except for joe came with a bootleg health plan that sounded like medicare for all.

Medicare who want it. what da? you're straight up trying to confuse someone with that nonsense. and they knew exactly what they were doing from the start.

she's not a true progressive. thats the problem, and she basically slowly outed herself during this run. she is progressive on some things. but her overall ideas is coming from a place of the system is working we just need to tighten up a few nuts and bolts. which is far from the truth. and how could bernie trust liz after what she has done in this campaign? he can't. now if hes cool with a possible snake in the midst. so be it. but i dont think it would matter if he did choose her as VP. thats not going to bring him a ton of new votes. look at how bad she was doing in these other states.
Yeah nah fukk that. We need a splash play. If we can pull some HRC stans back from Biden with that kind of move, you’ve GOT to do it.

This is honestly why I'm not as upset as many supporters. It's clear that the message is a winning one.

Part of the reason this "vote blue no matter who" shyt is stupid is because voters trick themselves into believing that all Democrats want the same thing.

M4A
GND
End Forever Wars

Time to run with the New Deal Democrat label from here on out

Start calling these moderates and conservatives Reaganites

That’s new play. Call yourself a New Deal Democrat and call the other Reagan Democrats.

It’s crazy that the South has the lowest, relatively speaking, support for M4A.

We have the worst healthcare in the nation. It was also the Jim Crow South that killed Truman’s plan for universal healthcare here while the Marshall Plan was helping European countries set up their universal healthcare plans.

I often wonder how this nation would be different if the South didn’t act so damn retarded all the time.

I think it has everything to do with the youth turnout. I haven't had the time to form my proper thoughts on this yet.

This is definitely true, alot of the establishment figures are Black in the south which gives the anti-establishment narrative much less popularity.
why did it take being up against the wall to finally start seeing/admitting this? i know some of us go hard on bernie (bernie bros) from various petty angles, but in that, there has been plenty of real critique about his strategies and rhetoric that get dismissed as people just hating, not being real progressives, or simply wanting black people to be pandered to. you have to politick to be in politics, maybe his unyielding approach is what you all love about him, but you had to know there's a ceiling to that.

anyway, good luck in the rest of the contests

The amount of infighting and factional wars inside the Biden administration will put Trump's to shame. He's basically going to be a senile figurehead while a bunch of younger players fight for the power behind the throne and to take over when he kicks the bucket. Gonna be some Shakesperean shyt. :wow:

Pete vs Beto will be pretty epic tbh if we get to that point. I know Beto wants revenge. But Pete is a ruthless gay cyborg. I dunno if he can stand toe to toe :lupe:

I think we all conceded the south before the election began. We just thought that with the split vote, Sanders survives and that maybe Biden drops out. None of the other candidates could beat him in the south without everyone behind them. It just turns out that the Democrats waited until the last minute and everyone dropped out and then the vote for Biden was no longer divided. No one thought Kamala Harris, Booker, etc., would all be gone this early. We didn’t think these white ass candidates would be left. It was just a fundamental miscalculation. And yeah - we do all hate the pandering fakeness of politics so his lack of doing that didn’t bother us. Why would we applaud lying? The thing about being a progressive is that it comes from a genuine place of caring about everyone and everyone else’s suffering. You’re looking at a candidate in Sanders who only ran because Warren didn’t in 2015. Who endorsed Obama over Clinton and Jesse Jackson over everyone else. His supporters are disproportionately of that brand. The anger and vitriol you guys see is just disappointment in everyone agreeing that you have the right ideas and then rejecting them anyway. It’s about putting in the time and effort and Biden running the laziest campaign ever and Bloomberg being able to just buy up attention. I don’t understand why so many people are dancing on the graves of Sanders supporters- it’s as if they forgot we were the idealistic teenagers who backed Obama too and then gave up. Sanders gave those people a reason to care about politics again, and for some reason a couple stupid white boys on Twitter made everyone forget that. It would be one thing losing to someone who worked as hard as Warren but fukking Biden? Warren did so much of that shot you said and went nowhere. It means nothing we could’ve done would’ve mattered. This man didn’t make a single impression on black people for 30 years before a black man made him VP. It’s the most disheartening shyt that I’ve witnessed in politics aside from Democrats not going all in with a supermajority. It’s like the popular kid winning the school election just to put it on his resume when the nerd is actually trying to make things better.

But maybe my alma matter can save Bernie one last time.
