I love that Bernie keeps challenging him to a healthcare debate, Biden's going to have to come out straight & say either he doesn't want to debate him on those issue or get completely washed
What does warren even do on the debate stage now? Go after bernie ? I can’t see her going after Biden. It’s clearly a two person race and she’s this annoying gnat that’s just there to stop the progressive agenda.

Bernie kind of got scammed by the relational organizing professional activist crowd. These are the same people who ran Momentum in the UK. A failure in two continents.
These activists helped him in 2016 but this cycle he could've just hired some DC insiders with good relations at the media outlets and it'd have paid off better. There's a place for it but they definitely overextended the relational organizing stuff. Biden has no organization but he gets 70 million in free media over two days and wipes all the door knocking away
Also I can't get mad at them for not going after Biden earlier. We have to remember we had to deal with the Buttigieg problem in Iowa/NH and then Bloomberg was making serious gains in the polls so we all thought Biden was done on Super Tuesday. They were in a tough spot regarding appealing to normal Democrats -- the left media was jerking themselves off during the Warren-Bernie plan war and he had to protect his left flank and keep his base. Not to mention like 70% of his DC team were Ready For Warren people in 2015 so

The Biden thing was like unintentionally playing possum, he was always the biggest threat but he not only looked done but it would’ve been bad optics to hit a guy with Alzheimer’s while he’s down

Hindsight is 2020 but again I don't mind the hires but definitely a shift in strategy is needed. They ran it as well you could with all of the dynamics before and after the heart attack. By the time Trump rolled in Republican voters hated George Bush/Romney/McCain. Democrats have a tighter grip on controlling their primary voters. Dem leaders are valiant heroes. Liberals believe in our institutions and believe we need new actors and players controlling them. Go look at the favorable/unfavorable numbers for the FBI for Democrats.
Bernie's message is a complete contradiction to what Democrats and Pelosi have pushed the past three years regarding their voter realignment.
The Dems are diving into the professional class suburbs, holding working class non whites and trying to flip Georgia/Arizona. The question is how they hold the Latino vote. The final part of this realignment which dumps places like Michigan and Wisconsin requires putting working class black and latino voters together with rich white suburbanites. It's a contradiction for the party.
Bernie needs to be really annoying and constantly tag Biden asking about a debate before Michigan. I mean it’s time for a fukking Hail Mary if Liz would rather just keep running her campaign.
Bernie needs earned media. Do long interviews. Be on the airwaves.
