David Frum on Democracy Now! spreading more bullshyt and lies about Bernie and why he can't win.

:stopitslime:

Surprised to even see him on there, even if it's just to have him debate and get his talking points fact checked in real time.
I was surprised Amy had him on :wtf:

Bhaskar atleast swatted his BS away

The turnout is bad news

Still need to see the real results. But yeah, turnout less than 200,000 is not good even in a state that has trended more Republican in the last 5 years.

Only plus side is... the youth turnout being higher and perhaps people of color being higher? Bernie's camp did stress that with the Latino vote, the immigrant vote, Muslims, etc.

Damn son , in a sense it’s not really bad news with the results as sky fall said. But all this fukkery I just have a bad feeling going forward. I’m not so concerned with turnout just yet let’s see the turnout on Super Tuesday before i judge anything

There shouldn’t be this much fukkery in a presidential campaign. We need reformations so bad on our process. We’re supposed to be the bastion of democracy yet our voting system makes it as difficult as possible for normal people to have their vote heard. Imagine having to physically participate in that shyt show.

We don’t know official turnout yet but we have some stuff that points to the under 30 vote being bigger than 2016’s which is good

According to entrance polls on MSNBC, Bernie won 41% for under 45 voters and was in the single digits for over 45. Man that kills me lol if we had respectable numbers with over 45 we’d run away with this

The turnout is bad news

I mentioned this last night, but share of new caucus goers was expected to be around 30%

Also people 17 to 29 represented almost a quarter of the vote and Bernie won 50% according to entrance polls. That is higher than their share of the electorate 4 years ago. Bernie seemed to have hit his marks when you look at NYT poll. In a strange twist, he may have gotten let down by Biden failing to reach his, and his remaining voters moving to Pete and Warren. A viable Biden would have meant less votes on realignment.

one thing i think is in our favor. i think just objectively speaking, if youre not a paid cnn or msnbc shill, bernie is just clearly the objective best choice right now to take on trump. you couldve MAYBE made a case for biden, i dont see a case for pete or warren or bloomberg, i think they get killed by trump. i think the public will prob just simply get the feeling like yeah bernie is our best shot. not saying they still wont somehow find a way to fukk him. but i think he is taking the mantle of frontrunner to the average voter now
