Are you talking about me? Find my contradictory statements on the matter
:hubie:My fault. You're clean... in fact you've only used the word pandering twice outside of this thread.
Ima sit down now.
:francis:@ all this pandering to ILLEGAL immigrants. This shyt is turning me off. Not sure why the democrats think this is a winning issue. I don't know anyone who is pro-illegal immigrant.
:hhh: The pandering is just so vomit inducing.

shyt, I'm not against the pandering, more against what its on :lolbron: hence do it about shyt we care about. If you're going to pander, pander about not locking folks up for something less harmful than alcohol and legalizing the shyt already. Not to people who can't vote and are an effective slave force. Also, just because I'm black doesn't mean having hot sauce in your bag is going to get my vote. In that case, based on what type of pandering it was, it makes me a bit nauseous.

Sanders is too liberal to bullshyt about this bruh. :wow: At least he is the one dude right now outwardly endorsing action on it.

Should add, I'm using pander in the most literal definition sense which is appealing to specific interests to get votes. I honestly, believe out of all the candidates to actually do some shyt on this legitimately, Sanders is probably one of the few who I think would actually follow through.

If anything, I would think Trump would be ok with doing this but that is never ever going to happen. I would think with his somewhat liberal social beliefs (regarding gays for example at least) compared to traditional republicans from being from New York, he would be open or propose this at least but he still has to appeal to his ardently conservative base such as the Christians and puritanical types in his party. Based on what I've seen he seemed open to legalization by the states but then later on became more conservative on the matter which seems to be a trend with him which I think is the result of more conservative folks getting in his ear.

What happens to the delegates of those candidates that drop out ? Do they just not count them ?

Edit : I dont know if candidates have to meet a delegate threshold like they do in the general elections, or if whoever has the most delegate by a specific date wins.
