Lol how much more evidence do you need that these activist groups are the next in line Dem Party careerists. It’s gaslighting to call for unity while refusing to call out that the Warren campaign and CNN tried to destroy Bernie's campaign. The professional class progressives are pretending that Warren didn't just try to destroy Bernie and instead call for some corny truce lol. They have jobs and relationships to protect. WFP, Sunrise, Justice Dems and other orgs are all cool with each other. It sucks so much that this is the future of the left.
Our left media who don't have to maintain relationships like Justice Dems have a bigger obligation here. But unfortunately Ryan Grim, Emma Vigeland, and other lefty journos are frauds who have been defending Warren's left flank this entire primary. They should be ruthless about what just happened but unfortunately the calculus of personal/professional relationships with Warren and her campaign have made them complicit.
It's awful that after this primary there won't be anybody like me on a national level to say that these guys were always frauds. They'll be interviewed, get MSNBC bookings, Democratic activist/party jobs and they'll all say that mistakes were made but can't explain how it happened. A lot these lefty media personalities are "sheep dogs" that are really just latching on to the movement so they can springboard into mainstream spots and herd a lot of the bandwagon people with them if/when the shyt doesn't pan out.

Yeah kukinski was kind of talking about this that any progressive brand of media that isn’t viewing this as a straight hit job on Bernie are nuts, I never really trust justice dems anymore after they kicked cenk out for nonsense ( even though cenk is person number one on the warren faux progressive steez) and then ironically cenk had to lose endorsements because of the very same people . People were giving like Micheal brooks shyt for going after warren hard, but nah he was 100 percent correct

Some have springboarded into careers like Sean McElwee. I don't even think some of these activist orgs are bad people they are just cynical careerists angling for future work or maintaining relationships.
Like FAH and storyteller post people like David Dayen in here who's a good journo but he's another one who has a complete blindspot when it comes to Warren. A lot of these DailyKos/Netroots nation progressives still think we are in 2011 and Warren is going at Obama for Larry Summers.
What is this unity convention strategy by the way? A strategy for all of them to get jobs? Why do they get to call the shots? If Bernie doesn't get 50% on the first round of delegates he isn't getting the nomination. Hypothetical: Bernie gets 41%, Biden gets 33% and Warren gets idk 18%. They'll say oh 51% didn't vote for Bernie so let's unify both sides of the party with Biden/Warren lol. Trump's getting re-elected

Not exactly, Bernie's campaign isnt funded by Super Pacs which is a major difference. Plus his emphasis on relational organizing, targeting first time voters, and early engagement of latino voters is what got him where he is right now

The sad part is it'll be an amalgamation of "Never Trumpers" who jumped into the MSNBC stratosphere on that note but will then actively undercut Trump's challengers; with the career Dems who live an illusion where good grades and complete submission to the rules without question is the only way to measure a person's ability. Both groups will also claim Bernie cost Hillary 2016 unironically because rationalization >>> self-awareness
