I think the Coli is underestimating Bernie. I know a lot people that are still excited about him. Plus, he birthed this Progressive movement that a lot of democrats are currently running on.

I'm not sold on anybody yet but I'm interested to see everyone's thoughts.

You're pretty much doing exactly what the criticism was about.
why don't I hear about Bernie's jewish identity often? Why is that not a plus in a country with anti-semitism? His dad's side of the family was killed in Holocaust. How can some people say they're going for Biden then say Bernie's old and white? Why do some pick and choose when to use identity politics?

I don't see an issue with the quote, I can't speak for others but I know I'm voting for him because the shyt he's putting on his platform today was stuff he backed over 40 years ago. this isn't an election season gimmick like you could accuse others of because they noticed it was politically expedient. Some of the candidates got Bernie’s platform but with no history to look back at that they'll actually fight for these things

he supported Jesse Jackson's radical campaign over Michael Dukakis in the 80's
For five years his distance from the funders, the managers, the mediators and the consultants who manipulate the Democratic Party and legitimize its candidates has allowed Jackson to do unimaginable things and say unspeakable words—about race, about class, about equality and, indeed, about democracy. To an extent that may be unique in presidential elections in this century, he derives his power from the people.
Bernie Sanders Was Slapped for Supporting Jesse Jackson in ’88

supported the equivalent of a 15 dollar minimum wage back in 1976.

being the voice of change doesn't mean you're fit to be the agent of change. word to sarah palin and her tea party...big shift in conservative politics, yet no one gave her a seat at the table. bernie is palin left :camby:

Where is all this irrational hatred for Bernie coming from? Because he dared to run against Hillary? Ya'll nikkas still mad about that?
He's the only real progressive candidate who could also take back a good portion of people who voted Trump last time. The party's donor class knows this and has issued orders for his destruction.

But people ain't buying it. :youngsabo:

Good thing Warren is my candidate.

That's a very poorly worded way of saying, "vote on the policy not the personality". Which in general, I agree with.

However, it's problematic because he didn't keep that same energy for why Trump was elected.
sooner or later yall gonna realize he's not poorly wording his statements over and over and over :mjpls:
