How was the PPV overall? I'm still trying to figure out if you all are serious about the Orton/Edge match, trolling, or an odd combination of both. Did the rest of the PPV suck?
The show itself was meh overall but the main event Orton vs Edge was really good. This is a match between 2 of my most hated so if i say it's really good it's a dope match.

Maybe it's not an amazing match but WWE is consistently so bad that this was great tho me. Best I've seen Orton in years and best Edge since he was young.

I stopped watching WWE for my own reasons, but what the hell is this?

This shyt really has turned into play fighting :gucci:

the worst segment in wrestling history. I see what they are trying to do but they have failed in every way at it. It shows how out of touch with their audience they are. It shows vinces sense of humor is so trash. It was corny and outdated,
Why do they keep giving the one dude a turkey leg?
Why was towzowa even there?
Why are we still using outdated Japanese stereotypes?
Who was that random as black dude?
And why I’m the fukk was there an alligator tail in the trash can?

that type of shyt and them firing Heyman alone makes me want to cancel the network

This was the first PPV I've really watched in years apart from Mania

When did wrestling fans start demanding everything to be serious :gucci:That match was the funnest thing for me all night and all jokes, which is what I gather the feud has been about from the beginning. I don't see how it was more out there than the Broken Matt Hardy shyt. These "cinematic" matches were always extremely cheesy to begin with anyways.

The difference is the Matt stuff is funny and original. This shyt was corny and unnecessary. None of the jokes hit

They caught my attention with this weird ass build for Edge and Orton and my movie site had a link, so I peeped parts of the show. I haven’t since any WWE since MITB so I’ve been out of the loop. That being said:
  • The Universal title match was decent filler. I don’t know what led to Strowman feuding with Miz and Morrison but it was a solid enough little match. I’m assuming SD’s roster depth is low and that’s how we got this match.
  • I have no idea what the Viking Profits was supposed to be but on a B movie level, it was fun. WWE has already long since jumped the shark with this cinematic shyt, but then I liked this more than that NXT Cole/Dream debacle so :ehh:
  • McIntyre/Lashley was solid, from what I’ve seen Drew has had a really solid run in general. Funny that WWE ran a TNA storyline more or less :heh:
  • Edge/Orton was the best possible match those two are gonna have with each other, especially after that horrible Mania match. While as overlong, they atleast had the right idea and the weird decisions to make Lil Naitch look like an old school ref, have a phantom Fink intro, and pipe in crowd noise I actually thought worked well. This was far from the best match ever, but it was well worked and produced. I give them a thumbs up for the effort all around.

Kinda off topic but does anyone know where I can watch Omega vs Okada? Everyone keeps bringing it up in the discussions on twitter/reddit.

:dahell: Yeah cuz a dude in his 40's running around with his drone and speaking in a faux accent is high comedy and expert writing but this is low brow and corny

Uhhh exactly. That’s what I’m saying. You have a great character vs 4 guys they just threw together because ether had nothing else to do. Two guys playing a very basic stereotypical black character and two Vikings.. yea broken Matt BS is way ore interesting :yeshrug:

Watching now. Some people may not like the finish, but Nia Jax and Asuka had a very believable looking match with good psychology.
