Picking up mine at the 5th Ave Store at 8am tomorrow. Woulda went with the ship option but don’t trust these fukkboys delivery dudes. First time at an in store launch since the original iPhone, which I also got (and still have) at the 5th Ave Store. Too bad it will be a while before the cube comes back

been waiting on this phone since the 7 was announced, shyt crazy.

Same with me, 7 Plus was always the plan but I couldn't shake the X rumors. Never had 3D Touch, stuck on iOS 8, 1GB Ram, first generation of Touch ID. I needed this upgrade.

I think waiting another year will be fine. Maybe the lose the notch next year. If they do everyone that bought it this year will be salty.

It doesn't hurt to wait until next year and let us beta test X. Face ID should be well improved just like the 2nd generation Touch ID. I have a strong feeling that the X Plus will happen, and if so, this will be the first time I've upgraded within one cycle. What won't happen is Apple removing the notch after one year. It's the same foolishness when people thought the X will have the headphone jack. You better get comfortable with the notch, same way I need to for the Face ID. Touch ID was perfect.

I had spoken to one of the most popular jailbreak devs the day after the X announcement. He said if iOS 11 jailbreak happens, he'll create a No Notch tweak immediately.

In other news: I think the notch is here for atleast another 2 years.

Next year I predict, 2 sizes (one comparable to this year size and one plus size),slight boost in processor speed, slightly better display, slightly better cam, MAYBE a smaller notch, MAYBE more capable face id. Faster wireless charging (15w)

for bigger OLED phone, 4 gb ram ., 120 pro motion, MAYBE apple pen support ( I doubt it tho). More colors as well (return of gold and rose gold)

The partnership with LG (if true and goes well) should help produce more OLED screens, along side Samsung, so I think the prices will drop slightly. (899 for x, 999 for X plus)

Touch ID wasn't upgraded for two years until 6s so I'm not really gonna hold my breath for a better faceid, hardware wise. Maybe something software wise.

It took Apple an awfully long time to jump on the OLED bandwagon, but as usual, the company knocked it out of the park when it finally made the move. But is it better than the competition? The answer to that question will depend on what you like to see.

If it's realism you want, the iPhone X supremely bright screen and exquisite white balance provide a sense of color accuracy you simply don't get from other handsets. But if you want hues that truly pop, the Galaxy Note 8 is still king. Ironically, Samsung is responsible for producing the OLED panels in both phones, but differences in tuning have resulted in two of the year's very best, albeit very different, smartphone displays.

Okay it's the perfect sized phone for me.

Only had a short limited play

Confirmed to me I don't like the shiny band around the silver model

Pissed I didn't get more like than like 2 minutes wih it but yeah ima take a trip to the apple store sometime and see the space grey.

Really wanted to test FaceID

All these new gestures felt weird but I guess you'll get used to them

I hope you’re right but I doubt the notch is going anywhere. Apparently they could of built the phone without the notch easily but they chose to keep it to differentiate the X from other phones.
