I'm getting the iphone X

If I can sell my apple watch 2 at a reasonable price, I'll get the apple watch cellular (even though it really is not that different from the apple watch 2. I've spoken through my watch too, and it's not that cool. So, it's really not that big of a deal for me. I'd much rather spend the money on other tech, to be honest.

I wonder if next yr they will put the "ears" on the 8 plus body and keep the touch id bottom.

there's no reason for that.. the ears are there to house everything that the FACE ID uses

i really can't see them going backwards on this.. putting time and money into face recognition and then also keep up with the old way of doing things. they'll just get rid of that shyt and next year, all models will have face id.. the plus will just be a huge screen

I was waiting on the pixel 2 but the iPhone X looks years ahead of it design wise. Tough choice. Hopefully Google comes through and lower the price back to $499 because I don't see myself choosing it over the iPhone if they have a similar price.
