Torn between getting a regular 8 or the X. I'm ready to move on from my 6.

I like the new design of the X, especially with the bigger screen without a bigger sized phone. However it's still lacking in my opinion.

I do think Face ID will be pretty cool but I think it's obvious Apple wanted both Face ID and Touch ID in the phone.

At the same time the 8 isn't all that different from the 7 which I skipped since it didn't seem better than the 6S.

Bang for your buck imo the 8/8+ is the move. The X is for early adopters, IMO I think next yr they are going to "get it right" because there were numerous rumors they were working on in screen touch id but it wasn't going to be ready in time.

So the only difference between the X and 8 plus is the OLED screen, battery life, & front camera?

size is a huge factor... you have a smaller phone than the plus, yet a bigger screen.. for all the people that love the screen on the plus but think it's too big to hold/carry

I wonder if next yr they will put the "ears" on the 8 plus body and keep the touch id bottom.

fukk everything else, I applaud apple for lowering 4K movie prices to the same as HD and doing free upgrades. Everyone else will be forced to follow to compete.
