If Apple have made it so that it's so quick, when you take your phone out to unlock, it VERY quickly unlocks via your face. Almost like how TouchID was so quick, by the time you unlocked your phone it had read your finger print and unlocked

I think over time your eye ignores the black bar

I would prefer that that entire strip just be blacked out. it's pretty distracting when the apps are up. i don't understand why they did it that way
