I agree. I can see what happened here.
Expectations changed when this game came out and broke twitch and got 50 million players.
They prolly thought they'd get 500k players and never put the resources into making the first season pass as bombastic as the new hype dictated it should be. I think they are in a little over their heads.
I wish the cosmetic items were better too but I would never say "this game is trash now, never playing again, Apex is dead RIP respawn" which is what a lot of people on the sub reddit are saying. Gamers get starry eyed and expect the world. This game was a surprise launch, a pretty stable one all things considered, very polished game out the gate with a bunch've characters weapons and skins already in game and here we are 6 weeks later or whatever and the Apex community saying things like the game is dead, these skins suck, fortnite skins are better. (fortnite didnt even have a bunch've skins until season 2)
The games not perfect and deserves constructive criticism, I guess I just hate this time we live in where nothing is reality. Everything is hyperbole. A game is either 10/10, or complete trash, it's as if the internet is not allowed to talk in grey areas. These dudes convinced themselves the battlepass would be earth shattering
