The whole last year has been a dub for this game. It's still good cause it's the best thing we got in the shooter space, but smdh at Respawn.
Tom Henderson just leaked a bunch of shyt for Season 16 and it looks like they're going to focus on more bullshyt sales including a Wraith heirloom recolor.
There is a rumor that ppl are gonna drop with a P2020 instead of bare hands next season tho.

Idk I think Fortnite is way more fair with their monetization. Like you get skins for every gun and usually a couple different styles with skins you buy. I don't play Fortnite too much tho so I could be wrong.
I been playing this game since launch, even competitively at times, and I seen Respawn do so much fukk shyt over the years. I remember one time they mixed up the gun and legend skins with different bundles so it would force people to buy more than one bundle for the legend and gun combination that matches.
And they backtracked a lot when they said certain skins were exclusive or limited for only a certain time, to get people to buy them, only to release those skins later on again.
ppl hate on the pricing but it seems to sell, thematic events seem to do better for them lmao

How fortnite does the currency, battlepass, skins and bundles and what's in em... I've spent money in fortnite. I think I've spent what around 45-50 bucks in Apex total since I started playing.. and I started Apex 2 months after I started Fortnite. Fortnite is really fair with it's monetization.
I think the bundles in Apex are scummy. If I want the skin just sell me the skin solo, I don't want packs or gunskins I don't give a shyt about.

And yeah man like when they release like some super rare Wraith skin that everybody wants but you can only get it with 30 loot boxes (and this is after they just diluted the loot pool with new bullshyt like stickers). shyts complete scumbag shyt. I dont think any other F2P games have shyt like $150 cosmetics like those heirlooms either.
Whats crazy is people used to complain about this shyt in the Apex subreddit and blame EA, but one of the leaders over at Respawn commented and said EA has no influence on how Respawn chooses to monetize the game, they just set benchmarks, and its completely up to Respawn on what methods they wanna choose.
I wouldnt care about all this monetization if it went towards new gameplay content and more arcade modes, but we just went a year with almost nothing but the same old events they used the two years before. Even the new map feels like it was rushed and lazy. Hopefully they can turn shyt around next season.

Also to be fair for everything you get for 150$ it’s kinda worth it if you break it down piece by piece. It’s a lot of money but all the skins that come with it weapon skins etc. piece by piece is about 150$

Worlds Edge (Fragment) and Storm Point (Bangalore POI) are next in line for map changes. Storm Point is supposed to get an update with new AI too (behemoths).
I doubt we'll see changes to Broken Moon for at least another couple seasons.
Personally this map would be a million times better if it had jump towers. And likewise with Storm Point. Both of these maps feel too big without them.
