Couldn't play for a year but just came back. Game still hitting for me. Seems like the they made the rank changes primarily to fukk up the dudes who have whole days to play. If you could dedicate 6-12 hrs a day to rank you'd reach the top, it was just a massive timesink. Now you basically gotta perform to make it and maintain. Downside is it's probably a lot easier to sandbag yourself if you just wanna say, stay in gold and farm kills etc.

Stormpoint is such a shytty map. I really hope they blow it up like they did Kings Canyon. shyts way too big.

I just hate how on stormpoint I'm either fighting the entire match, or not until the last ring. It's either boring as fukk every team dead on drop chasing ghosts, or can't catch a breathing room constant clusterfukk. Had one match where we dropped at Storm Catcher, and I swear to god it was like 8-12 minutes of nothing but combat. Surviving off bad ground loot and corpses.

Yeah, this new season I find I'm hitting the wall at Gold 3 in ranked. That's enough for me.

It feels like the OG World's Edge at times where you had a busy drop if you dropped in certain spots, and then the rest of the game is just looting and running from the ring until the end game which is usually one or two teams camping in the final ring waiting to third party.

The only way you moving up in ranked is if you camp it out until top 5 and then start fighting. The entry cost is way too high when you get to Gold 3/4.
