i don't think I had to do that for this particular situation because the other links were just updates and patches to the original rom.
But I understand now, if I wanted to start over on some new ish I'd have to erase this before trying something else.
and nah, i haven't did a backup yet, how do I do that shyt? copy and paste the SD folder to my PC or summin>
Nooo you ALWAYS do a backup even if all you doing is flashing a slight update or patch, never know what could go wrong, cause them all you have to do is reflash ur backup and ur good to go, backing up is easy, am assuming you installed the app "clock work mod"
Go to CWM
Select restore/backup
Select back up
Done
Now once you do this multiple times, which I don't recommend because they take up storage space, but if you do it multiple times I recommend two things, using your file explorer app, go to the CWM folder and rename your back according to what ROM it is, by default the backups will be named dates 11-6-2012 etc, rename it to something like MULTITTCHROM,something that will help you remember it, the second and more important thing is to delete ur oldest backup once you have too many, i used to keep no more than two backups at a time on my phone, you can delete it using ur file explore app
Also if your super low on storage space you can always connect your phone to ur computer and cut n paste the back up file on ur computer but again always keep one backup on ur phone
