Well after two months on iOS, I'm ready to come back to the Droid Gang Don't get me wrong, the iphone 7 Plus was great, just kind of dry compared to what I'm used to.

I'm thinking about either a Nexus 6p or a S7 Edge. I don't really need to have the latest and greatest so I'm not concerned about waiting for the 2017 flagships. I had both of those phones before last year and they were great. Plus, I've seen some 6p's being sold for around $300 which is pretty good for a pure Android phone.

Just heard about the HTC U dropping in March.

My M9 is fine but it looks like HTC may have finally fixed their low light camera issues with this

They "fixed" it with the 10 with the large pixel sensor, iirc the HTC U has a smaller pixel sensor so I wouldnt expect it to be better than the 10 but most definitely better than the M9.

I already don't like how it doesn't come with the headphone Jack

I'm interested to see what the footprint of this phone is. What I like about the S7 Edge is that it has the same size screen as the iphone Plus models, but feels way smaller in the hand.

Rumours have it the widths will be the pretty much the same as current models but they'll be taller

Makes sense since the aspect ratio is 18.5:9 instead of 16:9. That said, looks like the rumors of them getting rid of the headphone jack was false which is good.

Any Nexus 6p owners dealing with the battery shutdown issues? Apparently people are having their phones shutdown like at around 40-50% battery left. Thought about getting one, but I don't wanna risk it if this is a growing issue.

I haven't had that issue and I've had my 6p since Jan 2016

Finally back in the Droid Gang picked up a Nexus 6p today. That thing is still super smooth. My iphone 7 Plus was cool, but a lack of file management and access was a deal breaker.
