Cooper is definitely generational. Moreso than Peterson or AJ. Those are Kobe and T-Mac prototypes so of course nikkas gotta bow to nikkas they enjoy watching but any nikka who really knows ball knows Cooper is one of them ones.

You can’t be generational unless you project as great on both ends of the floor or your offensive game is so absurdly polished that it’s undeniable.. LeBron,Luka,Wemby,KD,those are generational players.. Cooper is a great defensively, good offensively..Which makes him a great prospect overall and a guy you can plop on any team and as a #2 he’s gonna be making winning plays over and over ..but he isn’t that main guy .

We just watched a game where his squad only scored one bucket in over 10 minutes..If you generational that shyt ain’t happening

Put Tugler on Texas KD,Cuse-Melo …hell Beasley at K-State and Tugler is getting cooked .. if Coop had that offensive game to go along with that defense then yeah id give it up …but he falls short

Now he is young so that’s the caveat and the hope is he can develop that..but that’s hard as hell to do

I completely disagree breh. This nikka off the charts in a lot of categories. nikkas tend to focus too much on the visual ones and not the impact ones which is why it takes nikkas forever to value Jokic.

You Can’t just enter numbers and project like that though…That’s how you get narratives like Reed Sheppard and Jabari Smith were great prospects when they weren’t ..Not comparing them to Cooper because he’s far far far better than those two. Just saying .

Also Kawhi is a trap..Along with Paul George . They take every big wing that theoretically fits that archetype and compare them to those two…When Kahwi and Paul George are freaks and outliers of the highest magnitude both development wise and in game

Cooper is a great prospect but they need to slow down with that generational stuff ..That’s LeBron,Wemby and Luka …he is not on that tier which is fine

Cooper can’t be generational when ppl are already saying Peterson and Dybantsa would’ve been fighting to go #1 if they were in this years draft….are they ALL generational??
I agree with the second stanza (I do think we probably don’t appreciate how incredible it is two guys that were supposed to be defensive first athletes became legitimately elite on ball shot creators).

For the fourth, I do think it probably makes sense that we have more generational prospects when you look at the NBA’s deluge of talent and how many HS kids are training their asses off since AAU ball. Hell some of these kids actually peak at HS in terms of their development and work ethic lol.

I swear to god I even talk about this with the guys I coach with. Having 2 guys up on the inbound is just begging to turn the ball over. One thing goes wrong then dudes start to panic.
They did better throwing it long and getting it stolen way at the other end of the court

We go straight to KD when we talk about offensive freaks but ignore how hard as hell it is to be 6’9 and have that kind of offensive game those two have/had all the while still being elite defensively ..

Then when young kids be like Paul George is their favorite player ppl laugh at em ... but they understand how crazy skilled he is ..What those two dudes did should not be expected of anyone because it’s damn near impossible
