That happened.
The Bills had a chance to go up 8 points (or 9 if they went to 2 to make it a two possession game) when they had the ball in Chiefs territory with 13 minutes to go in the 4th. They got stopped on 4th and 1.
Chiefs take the ball and score a td and get the 2 point conversion.
Bills tie it up. Mahomes immediately drives his team down the field and the Bills defense makes a play by sacking Mahomes. Chiefs settle for a field goal.
3 and hald minutes to go, Josh Alenn Bills have the chance to not only take the lead but bleed the entire clock out. Bills don't score.
If Mahomes had the rock with 3 and half minutes to go down just a field goal, there's no dount in mind he's scoring. Same with Brady or Peyton.
He had multiple chances to literally take the crown tonight in the 4th quarter and came up short.
As talented as he is, as good as he is, he's just not the guy people think he is. He's in that Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone tier of athletes all time and that's okay. People want him to be peers with Mahomes but outside of the 13 seconds game, he is not.

It was.....but at the end of the day, like in Boxing, the Chiefs are the A side......You aren't winning a decision over Floyd or Canelo in vegas, they get the benefit of the doubt, the calls that go their way.........so you have to knock the champion out. The Bills had a chance to do that in the 4Q multiple times and couldn't do it.

I'm not there can only be 1 winner ultimately unfortunately for Josh he's playing in the Mahomes era. He wasn't blameless tonight missed throws had a wide open Shakir on the 4th &5. We've seen him play Mahomes blow for blow he comes up short. This why I give Mcdermott so much shyt 4 of those games were the chiefs best offensive performance of the respective playoff years. 2020, 2021, 2023, and now 2024 (the game today was their best offensive game of the SEASON). This guy is supposed to defensive guru when is he going to catch some heat? When your defense gives up an average of 34ppg to 1 team I don't give a damn how good your QB is. I feel people are overlooking what the actual problem is Sean Mcdermott. The Bills get average defensive play they win at least 2 of games but here we are
Exactly people keep on missing this point.
It's funny, they give Allen criticism, but then big up Burrow for ONE GAME where his defense forced MULTIPLE turnovers and where Burrow only got a field goal at the end of the 4th quarter and got lucky Mahomes didn't see Kelce afterwards.

Ultimately that's what they are going to hold against Allen no SB appearances fair or not. Personally, I just don't think Mcdermott can get it done. What is it going to take 5 playoff losses in a row to KC to get it through people's mind. I've been consistent on the get rid of Mcdermott since the Bengals ran over his defense in the 2nd round with 3 new O-line starters

Josh Allen isn't perfect. But it's too many times where he's played well overall for the team to win.
That's on McDermott.
Okay, so Allen isn't GOAT or Mahomes level. So? He doesn't have to be to win a ring.
And it's not like he isn't putting them in position to win either. 13 seconds in 2021. Bass missed the field goal last year. And this year Kincaid couldn't make a play.
