This is the dumbest narrative, you can't compare track to basketball. The NBA is far and away the best basketball league in the world. Making the NBA champs play overseas champs to prove they're the world champions is a waste of everyone's time

The Euroleague is the consensus second best league in the world and this was the starting lineup of the championship team last season: Nigel Williams-Goss, Dzanan Musa, Adam Hanga, Mario Hezonja, Edy Tavares. Could they even beat the Pistons in a 7 game series? :heh:

Brandon Knight was the MVP of the Puerto Rican league last season :skip:

The Finals MVP of the Australian league champion is like the 12th man for the Wizards :skip:

Don't even get me started on the shenanigans in the Chinese league :dead:
