The Olympics are important. But the World Cup is also really important for world rankings.

Getting bronze for USA would be a step up from the disaster of 2019. At the same time, each cycle before the next Olympics, Grant Hill and Steve Kerr need to have his best 7-8 players commit to playing in multiple tournaments/events in the years before the next Olympics. Just like Coach K did after the 2004 Olympic bronze.

Perimeter defense and rebounding are huge problems.
It's just gotta be embarrassing for them dudes to get washed. That should be enough to get them going :dame: . If not it's gonna happen in Paris too.

Reaves should’ve just played for Germany since Kerr wanted to play bum ass knicks nikkas over him

Dummy shyt. Every big bucket Germany and Lithuania had down the stretch was because of Reaves utter inability to guard anything with a pulse. Schroeder literally tossed him into the 2nd row on the last shot. USA shot 58% from the floor and 45% from 3. It’s DEFENSE and rebounding that matters in FIBA.
