That this front office didn't draft. What does a top ten pick have to do with giving an extension? Did Eric Ebron deserve one too?Contract numbers? This is a 2019 top ten pick the front office is trash

Go ahead breh. U obviously know how to build a nfl team being a life long Detroit Lions fan. Enlighten us on how we went wrong, pleaseThat this front office didn't draft. What does a top ten pick have to do with giving an extension? Did Eric Ebron deserve one too?
You're the one upset with the move. Explain to us why Hock deserves a monster deal.Go ahead breh. U obviously know how to build a nfl team being a life long Detroit Lions fan. Enlighten us on how we went wrong, please
Better yet, explain how teams like the ravens keep competing while we waste draft picks. Oh wait...Baltimore has 2 championships and is gunning for a third...meanwhile u worried bout contracts like u pay for thatYou're the one upset with the move. Explain to us why Hock deserves a monster deal.
Yea Hock is worth top 5 TE money, which is why he’ll get it .. If you’re not willing to spend you’re not going to acquire or keep talent .
Hock isn’t Andrews or Kittle level but with Justin Jefferson stretching the field and other competent offensive skill players around him he’ll ball out .
With that being said I’m not mad at getting a 2nd for him.

The Lions learned the wrong damn lesson.
What other skill position player can the lions say is borderline top 5 at his position? The lions are a talentless team that just got rid of the few talented pieces they had ..Top 5 TE money isn’t going to make or break this franchise. I can 100% understand the pushback to trading him within the division..but the 2nd round pick makes it decent move imo.Hock being a debatable top 5 TE means about as much as Fox being the best punter.
Any quarterback would look good in this offense drafting Young isn’t neccessity people think it isThe staff seems fine outside of Glen. O-line is coached very well, allowing backups and practice dudes to step in and look serviceable. LBs coached well...not his fault we only have one decent LB on the roster. Duece is doing good with the RBs. The problem is that Campbell is clearly a position coach, was not qualified and is only here because he's a meathead white guy who played for Bill Parcell. BTW how on brand is it for the Lions to hire a Parcells guy when the league evolved ages ago. At this rate we'll hire a Sean McVay guy in 20 years.
This team has at least 3 wins with a serviceable, middle of the roach defense. Given that the scheme was changed specifically to mirror Glen's philosophy he has to go...I hate to say it but that's the truth of it. Meaning Campbell will have lost both of his first O and D coordinators within two years. He clearly got it right with Ben Johnson, maybe he gets it right next season with whoever replaces Glen. But the clock has to start ticking on this guy. If this team goes into Thanksgiving next season in another 1-2 win rut, he has to go. And the scary thing is that if this Goff plan is still in place next year and we neglect to draft a QB, we're going to be fukked. Passing on Herbert a few years ago and then passing up on Bryce Young could kill the franchise for another decade.
