Jamo is a straight bozo. If he hasn't learned by now, it's never going to click. As long as he's on the team, he's gonna be in some shyt eventually.

Sheed need to reach out to him , cause he used to move thru the city no problem. I've seen him at Jaguars on Joy rd few times and he never had problems. :snoop:

We got open carry , but it should've been in the trunk unloaded.

Just go live and hang in Birmingham or west bloom field like all the other athletes. You not a hood nikka anymore. Your a multimillionaire

The funny thing is while he's from the hood....he comes from a good family. His parents are still together, he had a father in his life, there are recent articles of his dad mentioning he's always giving him advice trying to get him to do right. So this is not some hood nightmare story like some dudes got. Speaking of which, you know who does have the hood nightmare story? Gibbs. Breh went from living in foster care and a shelter to being adopted. So Jamo doesn't really have an excuse. And I'm baffled nobody has explained to him that his speed and talent can make him just a gadget buy signing 1-2 year deals OR elite receiver money. It's really his choice. On the field he was on pace for nearly 1200 yards initially.

We just scored 52 points with Amon Ra having less than 10 yards in the game. It should be very clear to Jamo and his agent that this team does not need him putting up crazy numbers in order to win. Which has implications for any deal he's aiming for in the future....so perhaps missing games due to suspensions is a bad idea huh. Anything that lowers those numbers hurts him. So grow the fukk up and be ready to take advantage of situations. Because it's very clear to me that this team is drafting a WR next year. X receiver, so not a replacement for Jamo but a clear (young) target to play that Josh Reynolds/Tim Patrick role on the dig routes that Goff loves. Further lowering Jamo's targets potentially, on a team that already doesn't pass a lot due to the elite run game.

Have you ever had to explain something to someone who’s immature?

There are more people in the league with less support who make much better decisions.

Yes, I have and it sucks. You can tell in the dash cam vid...he sounds like an emotional 10 year old child. Is that a sign that he's gonna keep doing dumb shyt because nothing gets thru to him, or is this the thing that finally snaps him into being smart? Who knows. Given that this incident happened on October 8th, the team knew about it before the PES suspension hit. So Campbell's recent comments about Jamo having to pay for his sins and the team having his back were clearly about both incidents, in hindsight. Everyone is trying to give him opportunities and support him. It's up to him to decide whether crashing out is more important than hitting 100mil one day.

Time will tell if he gets his wake-up call.

As for me, I never bet on those kind of people. No matter how much I like them.

I think he’s gonna sit down at Wayne county during the offseason for a little after a quick plea deal. And the charge only gonna come because he was probably drunk and talked too much. Send a text to Lions security as soon as you see those lights and stfu Jamo. Oh well

Real life can sober you up fast. When I was in my 20s had a job and they told me mess up one more time and you're gone I cleaned up my act real quick.

Lions can get Josh Reynolds back for basically free and get out of his deal next year for a million. I EXPECT moves from Holmes this deadline. Holmes thought the secondary was good enough last year and made no moves then watched Purdy turn into Joe Montana a couple weeks after Stafford almost beat us with a 4 player roster.

I like Reynolds but wouldn't trade a 7th rounder for him. Tim Patrick is handling the same role, catching every dig route Goff loves to throw (on a cheaper deal). We need to draft an X receiver next year though; I thought we'd get one in April but tbh Patrick has been such a pleasant surprise it didn't matter.

Major problem I have with the "sell the farm" idea is that this team is gonna need to reload real soon. The entire interior o-line might need to be replaced within a year or two. Kerby Joseph is playing himself into signing a big deal, and if it doesn't happen here we need to find a legit free safety replacement after next season. Carlton Davis will be up for a deal and we gotta decide whether Terrion is ready to move to CB1 while Ennis Rakestraw moves to CB2, or whether we sign a vet. And even after we trade for a pass rusher this year it's VERY clear we need to sign or draft more guys at that position.

How we handle this shyt will determine whether we keep the ball rolling like the Niners have, or take a step back like Buffalo and Cincy have in recent years.

Lions can’t pay Branch, Kerby, Laporta, Gibbs all top dollar so Lions can flip a couple of them for picks when it’s time to. Lions are better equipped to do what the Rams did than the Rams because they didn’t have close to the talent on rookie deals. I see our window as last year, this year and next year. Whatever we trade this year we can get back in 26. Ragnow & Decker are close to retirement so our biggest strength only have a couple of years of staying so

That's even more reason to go all-in this season. I have complete faith in Holmes' ability to draft but no GM is perfect. He will have some dud drafts.

I’m with you on not selling the farm. I’d prefer to get a complementary piece that can work with Hutchinson and Davenport next year. That way we have depth and we don’t lose all our chips.

As much as I don’t like the idea on its own, bringing in Young wouldn’t be the worse move we can make. so long as we don’t have to give up much. He’s on a 1 year deal, we’re swinging for the fences this year. If he doesn’t work out, he’s off the books after this year. Who knows, maybe he reaches his potential with us.

I can’t see the Browns trading within the division to the Ravens, who want Smith too. Outside of us there are rumors that the Falcons want him too. I’m fine giving up a 2025 4th round pick and a 2026 pick. Also hoping we can somehow get someone else too.

Brad Holmes was at the Michigan/Oregon game yesterday btw.
