Big 10 Tournament starts tonight. Minnesota will steam roll their way to the title if they play at their full potential.

:noah:
Please let this happen. Alpharetta is on the rich side of town & probably an hour and a half away from me. I’ll still get season tickets

Atlanta
I would figure Cobb County where the Braves are at would be perfect, this seems too far from downtown ATL imo to work. I doubt they get a team soon tho

Nah downtown is still too “urban”. Braves moved up there because most of their big money fans were scared to go to the area Turner Field is in.

I think if a hockey teams moves to that same side (Alpharetta is on the north side with Cobb) a team would do great there. They have the wealthy folks along with all the transplants from up north in that area. Ain’t no cac from Massachusetts, Minnesota or some shyt gonna stay on the south, east or westside. Too many potential fans in the Alpharetta area.

Last owners were actively trying to move the team & idk what happened in the 70s when the Flames moved. Atlanta has changed since the thrashers were in town. An NHL team would have a ton of support this time around.

I get why State Farm Arena it’s the best option for a variety reasons. I just get weary of a NHL/NBA arena being so far out of downtown area of its home base. It’s why teams like the Coyotes, Panthers, and Senators have struggled imo. That’s why I’m not sure about that location despite your valid points. But like I said, this is likely years or decades down the road
