Of course the ATL
Subs

Good to be back brehs. Coming into the season and looking at the East this is a solid lower tier playoff team (5-8) range

PG: Trae/A. Holiday
SG: Murray/Bogi/J. Holiday
SF: Hunter/AJ/Krejci
PF: Collins/Johnson
C: Capela/Okongwu/Kaminsky

If Hunter takes the next step in his growth and we see Trae & Murray figure out how to dominate in the backcourt I could see us as a top 4 squad

Bogi is the only one on the team not 100% (knee), hopefully he’s 100% by the start of the regular season

Health & Hunter will decide how far they go. Not to sound like a homer but I think they’ll be way better than folks are projecting them to be.

Everyone has Cleveland better but I just don’t see it. Only teams in the east I think will be better are Milwaukee, Philly, Boston & possibly Brooklyn depending on their health & if Kyrie can keep his head on straight.

I got it like this coming into the season:

BOS
MIL
PHI
MIA
BK
CLE
TOR

Could all make a case to be better than us based on last season/moves made this offseason. That’s not to say we don’t get better but I think the East is loaded and it might take a month or two before we get the guys all playing at a high level.

But the team has the talent to be special this yr just gotta see how they all perform together

Yea I think Dre is the X-factor, if he levels up then the Hawks will be really tough

The Dre we saw for a couple months in the 20-21 season makes this an ECF finalist level team. The injury prone, scary acting guy we’ve seen for most of his career is the guy who keeps us at a low seed East playoff team
