That's all who should be in it, really. The field needs to narrow. It doesn't help the prospects for 2020 to have the debates such a spectacle. Partly why Trump was able to maneuver how he did, was the overcrowded, absurd Republican primary in 2015.

Commentary on MSNB: The Democratic party is too Nantucket, too LA? I am so exhausted with the Midwest fascination. I know it's crucial for the electoral college, but these voters who went for Trump in 16, most aren't coming back. I can't post any stats to back that, but I am sure it is neither true, nor reasonable.

As of right now, these are the Democrats who have already qualified for the next debate in Houston in September:

  • Joe Biden
  • Bernie Sanders
  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Pete Buttigieg
  • Kamala Harris
  • Beto O'Rourke
  • Cory Booker

Klobuchar meets the polling requirements, but not the donor requirements. Yang & Castro meet the donor requirements, but not the polling requirements.
Would love Inslee to make this.

No :stopitslime:

You misread what I posted.

Those truck drivers are losing their jobs. They should have healthcare not be tied to employment. Healthcare is draining businesses all over the country. Premiums are crazy. It makes it harder to hire people and not just make them contractors.

Yang is proposing a freedom dividend to help these guys not starve.

The appeal of Medicare For All plans is that you remove that burden from business and it’s why some multinationals go to Europe so they don’t have to deal with that.

According to who? The businesses that have to pay it?

And that is not the real problem with healthcare...the real problem is that healthcare in america is about making money and turning profits first...and if some people get helped that is okay to...and if they don't get help that is okay to...

People focus so much on healthcare and not the fact that companies put so much sugar in fruit drinks that by the time somebody is 16 they might be a diabetic...

The Harris criticism is absurd, and the rare time, I will say that is "extremist left". My sister lives in Oakland, and I am very familiar with those politics, but it's not reasonable here.

I get it, it's a cheap shot at a debate, they all take them, but it's uninformed and dangerous from people who don't understand law enforcement. She was the AG of California. She wasn't a hanging judge.

Marianne will benefit mostly from the crowded field imo

Wonder if they bring up Assad when Tulsi is on. They were mad at Booker for attacking Diamond Joe.
