What I wish Bernie or Liz would have said in these debates more forcefully is that according to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) says we are on track to spend $47 trillion on healthcare in the next decade.
Medicare For All, while shifting the entire cost burden to the Federal government as the single payer has projections at $32 trillion over the next decade.
So, yes, the government has to come up with the revenue but that's done from siphoning off what we're already spending in the private market right now.
Anyway, I'm glad its just Joe vs. Bernie. This really should be a substantive debate.
