How do you give credit to Steyer on the heels of this comment?

Is reparations more likely than anything Bernie is proposing?
Having a president that is pro reparations is more likely to change the dynamics of how party politics react towards black people. So rather it's likelihood or not the chances of the discussion around it improves substantially

Yep watching that clip in retrospect, it makes it clear why this dude was winning. When he points out its nothing but donors in the audience, the media and of course the audience acts aghast. But your average voter at home is thinking "finally, someone calling this shyt out".

Bernie took somewhat of a similar stance to Trump here post-debate

But even Bernie Sanders doesn't have the completely IDGAF attitude as Trump to do it mid-debate and not only that, expect to receive boos in response to doing so and not giving a fukk. Despite all the "divisive" talk regarding Bernie, relatively, he is still trying to remain cordial to the side that wants to destroy him to some degree.

There is a group of black people, across all ages, that only want to be patted on the head and be acknowledged. It’s fair and I understand it but that’s just the truth. Policies to help us is not a big deal. Just being acknowledged.

It’s why they support Biden because he talks about black people while supporting policies that destroyed us.

Or are happy with Steyer saying he supports reparations, which really does seem like straight pandering.

He has nothing else besides his bank account to stand out and stay in the race.

Ehh, that is to some extent regional. My dad and his cousins were team Bernie in 2016 - black baby boomers In Cali. And my dad leans him (steyer and warren) this year tho hesitates purely on age. All black baby boomers ain’t as “hard to reach” as those down south

That's California, we're talking about the South where most Black elders are. Older Black people in the South are VERY conservative. In California I expect people to be more "liberal."

Their voting sense is just another indicator of why they the most backward region in the country.

Education levels, health, bigotry etc all thrive in the South more than any other region... and this is coming from a nikka from ATL.

What you're talking about happens in all regions of the US. The most segregated cities aren't even in the South.

Yes, I use to live in Atlanta as well.
