But right now I gotta say Silver Eye is probably her second worst album after Head First. She should kept/took that darker sound from Tales of US further..

The Pond album is amazing. Has Kevin Parkers stamp all over it (sounds a lot like Currents, but thats not a bad thing at all), but thats no surprise considering this is the direction he has been heading in for a while.

I heard the new Grizzly Bear song on the radio yesterday, didn't even know they dropped it....shyt is pure fire. Just mesmerizing instrumentation. I can't get too excited though, because they dropped 2 different 5 Mic songs before their last album and nothing else on the album ended up even close to approaching that quality

Just gave the Pond a good listen. I like it a lot, but IMO this band can never be truly great with their singer. He has no unique qualities at all. I'm sure they are much more enjoyable live than on record, because his bland singing can be hidden in a live show.

He was fantastic live btw, lots of energy. Can hit all the notes

I really like this album. Might be their best, but Wives Beards Denim is hard to top
