It's gonna be hilarious when all these mid tier free agents freak out cause they ain't getting 15 to 20 million per year this offseason compared to last yeae

The teams who remain patient this summer will feast next year

There are only gonna be a handful of teams with cap room next summer

Most Players aren't gonna have leverage. They won't be able to leave their teams and thy can't force their teams to overpay them

The money isn't really out there. Last year there was a cap spike so every team had space, this year not many teams do and these teams won't overpay to get middle tier guys. You either get an impact player or it's one year deal possibly with team option

22 mill per?? :dahell: They're crazy for offering him that much and he's crazy for turning down that much.


Most likely turned it down for 2 reasons:

  • His agent must have thought he could get more in the open market
  • The uncertainty of Utah keeping Gordon hayward
