Hield makes a ton of sense. They still need outside shooting and all they have at SG right now is LaVine and he may not be cut out to start.
Bazz may or may not be on the team next year because it's contract extension time for him and nobody really knows what Thibs thinks of him. Even if Bazz stays, Thibs is not gonna have faith in him defensively to start him (it might be for the best since Bazz might be more comfortable off the bench. The same MIGHT apply to LaVine)
As for Wiggins, he has to come to terms with the fact that he can't keep ducking the weight room and he has to bulk up because whether he likes it not, SF is where he's gonna have to be until he can do something other than score, and he may have no choice but to worry about rebounding and other intangible shyt if he knows he's at SF permanently.
If Bender's there it's an easy pick, but I expect him to go top 4
You need shooting, but Thibs will also want someone that can defend and who knows if Hield can do that. Look at who he used to play, he gave broken jumper Ronnie Brewer minutes simply because he could defend. I like Hield, but I just don't see it with the Wolves and how he'd fit with them, he's a good shooter but you need a defender there just as much as the spacing. There aren't any guys who fit that bill in this draft, guys who can shoot while also being pegged as potentially elite or close to elite defenders, maybe Luwawu but he's not someone you take at 5.
Your player development from what I've read in general doesn't stress weight training, I mean it's not like Wiggins is the only dude you have that's skinny and stayed skinny with yall
I guess it depends on what Boston does, that's the only team I could see taking Bender but he's a couple years away and Ainge doesn't have the patience. The Suns could use him, but they need a 3 in the worst way, they got Tucker out there starting still. I think Bender makes you the most dynamic team long term, because he has the potential skillset to make it a nightmare to defend him and Towns, plus the size as well.
