How these things usually work is their speech writer will write it, and then the person giving the actual speech will edit it with personal touches and word changes to fit their style. This almost certainly happened for someone whose first language isn't even English.

The speeches are like 80% or so similar. The 20% difference is probably what Melania did as personal choice, a speechwriter probably fukked up by lifting the speech.

Indeed. He lifted it from one of the more popular speeches over the last decade. Anyone could have caught that. But this just shows you how inept Trump is at everything to do with politics. He has not a fukking clue who he would even appoint to cabinet positions and whether they'd be capable of performing the job etc.. This is the guy that's going to appoint supreme court justices also??
