I think defensively Smart is on another level but offensively, Clarkson's got him beat. Smart's shot selection is awful
Don't buy this at all. Neither are plus shooters but Marcus Smart is a far better passer. Neither will be explosive scorers in the half court but Smart is younger and shows more potential with his 3 ball. Clarkston will always be a better finisher, though.
Maybe I'm biased because I'm a C's fan but Smart's shot selection just drives me insane. And I don't even necessarily think that he's a bad shooter but he takes so many awful shots. I hope that as he gets older he learns to take smarter shots but for now I thought Clarkson was superior offensively last season.

harden's game is based on a sick handle, a dope step back jump shot, and the fact he gives part of his salary to the referees given the charitable amount of trips he's afforded to the free throw line. supreme athleticism is not part of james harden's game.
