The coli. Where we make sweeping statements about 19 year old basketball players. There's a reason none of y'all are scouts or GM's. Dangelo the next smush Parker wtf
His legs need a lot of work though. That lateral quickness is just poor. It's good that he is at least basketball savvy so I can see him getting around players, but in this league there is no substitute for athleticism. He needs to stay with one of those resistance bands all day every day. He's quick, but when he can get explosive he'll be alright. The handle is tight, the vision is good and the bball smarts is high.

This was the response every time he had a shytty shooting game against a good team.

There's excuses/responses for every single player/everything though. Dude also has shown he can shoot, that's all I can ask for when it comes to that skill for now. Not everyone can knock down shots consistently every night.

However, his passing and his ability to see the floor, is one skill I'm grateful that he doesn't have to work on. I think it can be argued that that's one of the most rare skills in the league, any era, and seems to be more innate than anything. Dude's handles pass the eye test and have seen him break cats down with the dribble on all levels, and although he didn't much credit yesterday he did show it when he got that mid range jumper look and the other time when he got to the basket and hit that shot in traffic.

So far I'm more than content.

We'll see how he looks today

@Poitier Is it just me or am I the only one concerned that Julius still doesn't have a go to move outside of that lower your shoulder into the defender move he's been using for years? He has to know defenders will start flopping and getting charges called

He has a lot of pumpfakes that he used in college. I'm sure it's because he's been away from pro ball for so long that it's going to take him awhile to get back in that rhythm.

Oh and Julius looked shakey yesterday, but that raw quickness and strength is :damn:

Almost bodied Towns on that charge

He only looked shakey, because he hasn't played ball in so long,I would have been more concerned if his quickness and power was gone, long as he got that he can still live up to his potential

:heh: Smart is trash

And Clarkston is a transition player with a streaky jumper who has no value outside of getting up and down the floor :mjlol:

Smart is at least a solid starter. Clarkston is a bench player on a good team.
