Potentially yes, but now, he isn't. He has more handles, skills and defensive anchor potential. Something Horford lacks to Towns degree. We have to remember, Horford was polished when he entered the NBA. There was an argument that Horford was clearly a better rookie than Durant. Fast forward two years, Durant is a superstar. You got to give these 19 yo's time.

When someone says Player A is Player Z's floor, that means when Player A reaches his potential it should at the least be similar to Player Z. So not rookie seasons, not now, we're talking about in a couple years at least.
