Again, not that serious. Nobody is gonna look back on a night where they let him go to the ESPY's as a turning point in his career. None of this will affect them come training camp.

As long as nobody gets hurt, that's all you can ask

I agree to an extent,he's extremely "IFFY" and needs all the reps he can get before the season starts

Because, as I explained.... he plays in a garbage offensive system, that doesn't work to his strengths. He finishes at nearly a 70% clip around the basket, which is a GOOOOD deal higher than other slashing guards.

He's increasing the % of shots he takes from 3 AND he just increased the amount of shots he takes around the basket bay 25% this year, which means an increase in free throw rate is likely on the way.

You're penalizing a guy for being efficient... it's not like we're talking about a guy who only played 8 minutes a game, he shot the ball nearly 900 times last year, and missed a chunk of the season due to injuries.

He's a good ball handler, finishes well, passes well, and shoots well. You should watch him more often, you'd be able to talk about more than his Free Throw rate... we all have access to Basketball Reference, bruh. :smugsilver:

What's funny is -- you're quoting Doug McDermott's max vert... but his REGULAR two-foot vert was pedestrian as fukk, which is a much better determinant -- AND much more functional.

You don't want to talk about verticals... but you want to tell me about lane agility!!! :deadrose::deadrose::deadrose:

Never mind the fact that you can just WATCH them and see that Beal is a better athlete, more power off the bounce, better change of directions, faster.

You kids are too much... fukking lane agility.... I love this site. :heh:[/QUOTE]
Look. You're the one that said that Beal was more athletic than Booker and you cited Beal's vertical as being evidence.

I cited the fact that Doug McDermott posted a higher vertical than Russell Westbrook. Please answer this question for me, who is more athletic McDermott or Westbrook?

Im telling you I really think Kupchak drafted D'angelo with the hopes of moving either him or Clarkson, just my opinion

The reports before the draft seemed pretty clear that Mitch wanted Okafor while Jim Buss and his boys wanted Russell. If they're gonna make this work, Clarkson should be the primary ball handler. He was playing with nothing around him the last few months of the season and still putting up numbers and holding his own against the best PGs in the league. That would allow Russell to spot up more for that jumper we're still waiting to see and allow him to make quick decisions with the ball instead of facilitating the offense.

Honestly I have a feeling Towns will be a productive player but not a star...But the twolves have their star in Wiggins if they can keep that core together they will be dangerous.

Before @#1 pick comes after me for saying this, I could see Towns having a career like Al Horford. Jack of all trades, master of none who has a really good career, but never a franchise centerpiece.
