No he is not. Just because he can pass his ass off don't make him a PG. He has no feel for the game as a PG. He is at his best running off of screens, making quick reads that don't have a high usage which LA system is a VERY high PG usage system and a system based on quick reads which LA doesn't do. He would be fine with a team like Boston, ATL, SA, GS and teams like that but LA is a terrible fit for him.

Rubio is a much better PG. He's a much better player than Burke as he can play and he a decent SG from the start. His ability to play off the ball and size to be a SG makes him a superior player compared to Burke. The problem is, he is not a PG.

I agree,but Rubio is/was overhyped as he was looked at to as the next superstar point guard and he obviously is not that,I said all along D'angelo is no PG he is a 2 with good vision,he will come off the bench in LA.

Far as him and Burke Im not so sure if he could be a superior player compared to Burke Russell is extremely weak and has 0 athletic ability what so ever,type of guy I think if his jumper isn't falling he is a non factor,as his jumper is going to be the main thing that opens up the rest of his game.

We shall see

I think Russell will be fine but Okafor is arguably the best offensive talent in the draft

He's not shooting good enough nor attacking well enough to be a SG. He's just going to have to learn the PG position and get better. Lakers have invested in him at PG.
