I have Hot Chip tickets for the Thurs night before the Lolla weekend I was going to sell now that I have a 3-day pass

Are they dope enough live where I should see them twice? :lupe:

I've only ever seen them that one time and they blew me away. I'm new to their music as a whole though, their latest album got me into them but I did know tracks like Over and Over.

What are our feelings on Chet Faker?

My girl is going to ditch me during Tame Impala to catch his show :francis:

Im gonna be tripping my ass off anyways so I was like :yeshrug:

Chet Faker puts on a great live show. He does all of the instrumentation himself. Highly recommend. But if he's performing at the same time as Tame Impala, I'd obviously see them instead.

Yeah, I was hoping to catch him too

Lolla fukked up putting Tame Impala, Chet Faker & Boyz Noize all at the same time. Clear conflicts of interests for fans right there

**Warning: Barry Horowitz back patting post ahead**

Was digging through old Facebook posts and I found the post I made when I first discovered Tame Impala. August 28th, 2011. It was the second time I heard "Solitude is Bliss" and I knew I had to check out these dudes whole album, so I listened to it on youtube even though I had never seen anything about it. The exact words I used on Facebook, which were probably blasphemous at the time, were "Singer sounds too much like John Lennon but when you get past that you realize that this is the album John Lennon would have created if he were alive today. High praise I know, but this is just phenomenal music"

4 years and 2 classics later (including the GOAT album of the 2010's) and I'm feeling like a visionary :blessed:

Listen to me yall :blessed:

Side note, I also found a post where I said that I let out a fart that sounded like the opening guitar riff to Radiohead's "Airbag":heh:

Wait a second, I didn't know that HEALTH was just a disgustingly basic Muse-ripoff pop band hiding behind fake-hardcore industrial percussion :francis:

I was looking forward to this album based on the shyt I heard on SiriusXMU

Off to the bushes:camby:

Innerspeaker on first listen - blew my mind.

Desire Be, Desire Go
Alter Ego
Lucidity
Solitude is Bliss
Expectation
The Bold Arrow of Time
Runaway Houses Cities Clouds :banderas:

that album kicked me on my ass and was an instant classic for me. I still find myself going back to it over Lonerism & soon to be Currents
