Song is nice, but the album is 93 minutes long:wtf:

Damn, I haven't posted in here in a minute. Though I haven't stopped listening to shyt.

That Titus Andronicus song :wow: Every time I listen to that shyt I GOTTA repeat it, it's fukking great.

The METZ album is ok. I gave it a spin today. I saw them in concert several months back and they didn't do much for me, and this one is sorta the same.

Nosaj Thing I thought was pretty boring.

Still digesting The Magic Whip, I wasn't too blown away though.

Toro was sorta disappointing for me. But I still gotta give it some spins

The Young Fathers album was a surprise

My favorite albums of the year so far? Toss up between Chastity Belt, Viet Cong and Tobias Jesso Jr. Probably Chastity Belt when it comes down to it :ld:

Other albums that I've loved, Quarterbacks, Soviet, Twerps, Colleen Green, Will Butler, Earl,

Though, that could all change once Surf, Frank Ocean, Kanye, Titus, Leon Bridges, Tanlines and Chromatics all drop

Hey @sknk80, why is it that you seem to think that your musical taste is the "correct" one? You almost never post in this thread, and half the time when you do its to make some sort of short condescending remark. But your musical taste is blatantly stuck in a very narrow window, you love to big up noisy rock albums and little else. You are a smart guy, but apparently not smart enough to have any self awareness about this. You are like the adult version of this meme:

This thread is meant to discuss a wide variety of music, not just one lane. If you want to school people on music you find to be great, then post shyt more often. Don't just drop in for a monthly hot take on what you think is garbage. News flash: your opinion is no more valid than anyone else's. And when there is a critical consensus of somethings greatness but you don't agree with the critics, perhaps the issue is with yourself and not other people.

About that Metz though, I'm listening now and yeah its good. Gonna give it more attentive spins soons.

Seriously. Who cares.

Yeah, I listen to him a lot. Great chill music, looking forward to his new mini album thing. Live he is so-so, but puts on an entertaining enough show. For some reason 18-22 year old kids go nuts over him, he is like their Britney Spears. I was the only person around the age of 30 at all of the shows of his I've been to. Nice guy in person too, ended up hanging out with him and the guys from the Meatbodies after the show the last time they played my city.

It's gonna be hard to follow Lonerism.....personally I dig what I've heard so far. Listening to a lot of Melody Echo Chamber, and Ponds album....this is the direction Kevin Parker has been headed to for some time

it's like i said before, he makes nice music to get high to and think about what you're doing with your life and who's going to that more than people in that age range who are unsure about where the hell they're going in life
