I'm a Sunbather fanboy no doubt about it I even started the hype train on The Coli for it, but keep going back to that Lonerism and you will see. Now that it has clicked, it will only get better.

That first "click" is when you finally hear all the melody and simple song structure buried deep underneath the dense musical soundscapes. After that point in time it improves each and every listen
:lupe: o really.

and you stay claiming you start hype for shyt. I remember when you claimed the chvrches hype  I'm on to you ngga

Thats what I was getting at when I said I hoep Kevin Parker doesnt push too hard in the next album and loses sight of this

The music hidden beneath the surface is just A+++

I dont think he will because of how great musically Mink Mussel Creek & Pond an be as well

Ive seen alot of live shows, but cant think of many that compare to seeing them live March 2013 and then again in October

Aint been too crazy about the releases this year, hoping things pick up in the next couple months

Right now I got

1. St. Vincent
2. Perfect p*ssy
3. Cloud Nothings

Those are the only ones that stick out for me as separating themselves. Lots of other "pretty damn good" albums though

I think you can separate the usuals in this thread as

those that think Tame Impala's Lonerism is a top album and those that dont

those that feel that Arctic Monkeys put out a top album, those that dont

there doesnt seem to be a middle ground with both beliefs

But the Artic Monkeys got like 2 or 3 stans from the UK, whereas Lonerism was The Coli Alt-album of the year by a landslide :krs:

Vampire Weekend took that honor last year
