But I was already ready to hit the reply button and tell you that Lonerism was the album that deserved that title. Then I scrolled down further

I came around to this, still not that amazing to me these personally are my two for best of the decade

It might be the best album of the 2000's period - its classic

I know Kevin Parker will push the envelope even more on the next album, but I hope he doesnt get away from some of the most basic musical aspects this album delivers. It just hits on every cylinder possible

then st.vincent, lana, and cloud nothings all around the same area.

I like Crystal Castles, but they dont hold a candle to Tame Impala

Its def good, was listening to it a few weeks ago and it finally clicked. dope effort. I get hate for this when I speak around my hipster brehs and brehettes irl but the are pretty much a better sounding Beatles

I'm a Sunbather fanboy no doubt about it I even started the hype train on The Coli for it, but keep going back to that Lonerism and you will see. Now that it has clicked, it will only get better.

That first "click" is when you finally hear all the melody and simple song structure buried deep underneath the dense musical soundscapes. After that point in time it improves each and every listen
